Sociotherapy Team

This team works with patients to help them navigate their time at CITA while guiding them in developing new habits and tools needed for life after rehab. They are specialists in the field of relapse prevention, emotional management and social skills and conduct individual and group sessions on these topics. The assigned sociotherapist sees patients twice a week and acts as a general companion-cum-mentor.

She is currently a Bachelor of Psychology student.
She is a tutor in the training of Gestalt therapists, at the Gestalt Barcelona school.
She has experience as a therapist in various centers and currently works at CITA as a sociotherapist.

Xavi is a psychologist from Mataró with over 15 years’ experience in addiction, mental health and various other areas.
He currently coordinates the Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) unit for inpatients, under the supervision of Dr Fàbregas and Dr Gasol.

Social therapist and educator, she specialised in the field of drug addiction as a therapist and drug addiction prevention technician at Projecte Home Catalunya.
Training and experience as a family and group therapist in the Youth programme.
Implementation and management of the Parents’ School at Projecte Home.
She studied Psychology at the UOC and completed a Postgraduate Course in Psychodrama through the Institute for Continuing Education at the University of Barcelona (IL3) and GRUP, a psychotherapy centre.
She currently works at CITA as a therapist.
